I always strive to do my best for clients and make the world a bit better every day. tablette® is the first compostable and resealable makeup palette that enables makeup artists to serve multiple clients while reducing cross-contamination and maintaining the highest standard of safety protocols. And tablette® respects our Mother Earth.
The $500 billion-plus beauty industry brings joy to millions throughout the world, but it is also one of the biggest plastic and excess-packaging polluters on the planet. Rectifying this problem was uppermost in my mind when creating a tool to enable professional makeup artists to meet stricter on-set safety protocols implemented in the wake of the covid pandemic.
Juggling multiple product containers for every client was unwieldy and added extra weight to already hefty kits and achy backs. There had to be a better way that also reduced the environmental footprint left by so many single-use packets professionals often gift clients to refresh their makeup.
tablette® is environmentally friendly. The ten-well palette, which is customizable and can be cut into individual tabs™, is compostable. The box it comes in is tree-free and compostable too.
Industry response has been positive. Makeup artists like that the palette is resealable, can be easily cut into personalized tabs™ for each client, and weighs less than an ounce. No more achy backs. Celebrity clients and brides appreciate having their own touch-up tabs™ for red-carpet events or personal getaways. Mother Earth is spared the burden of handling more than the 120 billion units of beauty packaging produced annually.
